Can I have multiple YaYa Wallet accounts?

No, you can only have one YaYa Wallet account per phone number. However, if you need to manage multiple accounts, YaYa Wallet provides a convenient feature to add additional accounts within the same application. Here’s how it works:

1. Single Account Per Phone Number

  • Account Limitation: Each YaYa Wallet account is tied to a unique phone number. This means that if you attempt to register a new account with a phone number that is already associated with an existing YaYa Wallet account, the system will not allow it. This measure is in place to prevent fraud and to ensure that all transactions are securely linked to a single user.

2. Adding Pre-created Additional Accounts

If you need to manage more than one YaYa Wallet account (for example, for business purposes or separate personal finances), you can do so by following these steps:

  • Open the YaYa Wallet App: Launch the app on your mobile device.

  • Access the Profile Section: Tap on the profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the main screen.

  • Select the Dropdown Arrow: At the top of your account name, you will see a dropdown arrow. Tap on it to access account management options.

  • Tap "Add New Account": Enter different phone number that has been previously registered with YaYa Wallet along with a password. Once you have filled in these details, you can log in to your new account.

3. Managing Multiple Accounts

  • Seamless Switching: Once you have added multiple accounts, you can easily switch between them using the profile section. This allows you to manage your finances without logging in and out of different accounts, providing a streamlined experience.
