To Upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2, a YaYa Wallet user must follow the following steps.
1. Open the YaYa Wallet account and navigate the Profile section.
2. Tap the Photo Icon
3. Upload a passport-size profile picture from your gallery or take a selfie.
Note: Your profile picture must clearly show your face. Avoid sunglasses, hats, side poses, or blurry images.
4. Click View Your Progress.
5. Select ID Document.
6. Tap Upload ID Document.
7. Upload the front and back sides of your ID, then submit it for review.
Note: Ensure your ID is not expired, crop the image by showing all the necessary details, and adjust the lighting for clarity.
Accepted ID types:

Kebele ID
-
Driver’s License
-
Passport
8. After the YaYa Wallet officer approves your ID document and Profile photo an icon is displayed with "Upgrade to Level 2” on your profile section.
- Press the "Upgrade to Level 2” icon.
10. your account will be successfully upgraded to Level 2.
Please note that if your ID and profile picture do not meet the criteria provided above, your document will be rejected.
