YaYa Wallet User Registration Guide

YaYa Wallet is a digital wallet service provider that allows users to store, manage, and transact with their funds using a mobile device. With YaYa Wallet, users can make payments, transfer money, pay bills, and perform other financial transactions conveniently and securely. To get started with YaYa Wallet, please follow these steps: There are two options for registering as a new user in YaYa Wallet: using your National ID or registering by phone. Registration Using Mobile App 1. User Registration via National ID 1. Download the YaYa Wallet App from the Play Store or App Store 2. Open the app and navigate to the login page. 3. Tap the National ID icon. 4. Enter your FIN or FCN and tap "Verify." 5. You will receive a six-digit OTP from the National ID system. 6. Enter the OTP and tap "Verify." 7. The system will automatically fill in your personal details from the National ID. 8. Tap "Next." 9. A username will be generated using your first and father's name, which you can edit at this stage. 10. Create and confirm your new password. 11. Tap "Create Account." 12. A welcome message will appear, confirming successful registration. 13. You will receive a four-digit initial PIN from YaYa Wallet, which can be changed after logging into your wallet. Congratulations! You have completed the registration process. 2. User Registration with phone 1. Download the YaYa Wallet App from the Play Store or App Store 2. Open the app and navigate to the login page. 3. Tap “Register with phone”. 4. The system will request you to enter your phone number. 5. Enter your phone number and tap “Continue”. 6. Tap the "Get Code" icon. 7. You will receive a six-digit verification code from YaYa Wallet. 8. Enter the code and tap "Next." 9. The system will then request your personal details. 10. Enter your full name. 11. Enter your email address. 12. Enter your residential address. 13. Tap "Next." 14. A username will be generated using your first and father's name, which you can edit at this stage. 15. Create and confirm your new password. 16. Tap "Create Account." 17. A welcome message will appear, confirming successful registration. 18. You will receive a four-digit initial PIN from YaYa Wallet, which can be changed after logging into your wallet. Congratulations! You have completed the registration process. Registration Using USSD 957# 1. Account Recovery Guide

User account recovery in wallet services is regaining access to an account when login credentials are forgotten or inaccessible. Regaining control over their funds and resuming using the wallet service is vital. 1. Account Recovery Using Email 1. Open YaYa Wallet App 2. Navigate through the introduction pages until you reach the login screen. 3. Tap on "Recover". 4. Enter your username (your name and your father's name combined, without spaces, up to 12 characters). 5. The system will prompt you to enter your email address (use the email address you used when creating your account). 1. Tap the "Send Password Reset Email" button**.** 7.  Go to your email and open the email you received from  YaYa Wallet. 8. Click on the link 1. You will receive One Time Password (OTP)via SMS. 10. Enter the OTP. 11.  Tap the "Submit" button. 12. You will be prompted to create a new password. 13. Enter your new password. 14.  Re-enter the new password for confirmation. 15.  Tap the "Reset password" button. 16.  Return to the app and tap the "Login" button. 17.  Enter your phone number and your new password. 18.  Tap the" Login" button. Congratulations! Your account recovery process is now complete. You're all set to log in and continue using your YaYa Wallet account. Account Recovery Using Guardian User account recovery using guardians involves trusted individuals, known as guardians, who assist a user in regaining access to his/her account in case of forgotten password or other login issues. The general overview of how it works: 1. Setting Up Guardians: During account setup or management, a user can designate guardians by using their account information (like username or phone number). 2. Guardian Confirmation: Guardians receive a request from the service for their role and they may confirm and accept the request. 3. Account Recovery Initiation:  If users forget their login details or face access issues, they can start the account recovery process. The service typically allows requesting help from designated guardians. 4. Guardian Verification: This service uses designated guardians for identity verification, ensuring only trusted participants. They may need to provide personal info or follow specific procedures. 5. Guardian Collaboration: Once guardians verify their identities, they may perform actions or provide information to assist in account recovery, such as sharing recovery codes or confirming user details. 6. Account Recovery Completion: After guardians fulfill their roles, the service assesses the information. If it meets requirements, account recovery is facilitated, granting access to the user's account. To setup and activate your guardians, please follow these steps: Step 1. Click on Profile Step 2. Click on Security Step 3. Click on Account Guardians Step 4. Click on Add Guardians Step 5. Welcome to the YaYa Dashboard! This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the dashboard's features, enabling your organization to manage users, make transactions, and utilize various functionalities efficiently. Getting Started Logging In 1. Access the Dashboard: Visit https://dashboard.yayawallet.com. 2. Enter Credentials: Use your username and password. Navigating the Dashboard Upon logging in, you’ll be directed to the Home Page. The Navigation Menu on the left side provides access to the main sections. Main Menu Features Below is an overview of the main menu options and their submenus. Transaction Manage transactions between YaYa Wallet accounts. - Send Money: Transfer funds to another YaYa Wallet account. - Transaction History: View details of all completed transactions between. - Verify Transactions: Check and confirm specific transaction details. - Approval Requests: Review and approve or reject transaction requests. Other Banks Manage transactions from the YaYa Wallet to external banks in Ethiopia. - Send Money: Transfer funds from a YaYa Wallet to an external bank account in Ethiopia. - Transfer History: View the history of all transfers to external banks. - Transfer Fee: Access information on applicable fees for different transfer types to other banks. - Account Lookup: Check recipient account details before transferring to an external bank. - Approval Requests: Approve or reject bank transfer requests. Scheduled Payment Set up one-time or recurring payments to streamline operations. - Create Schedule (Single & Bulk): Set up individual or bulk payment schedules. - Scheduled List: View and manage all scheduled payments. - Bulk Report: Access reports for bulk transactions. - Approval Requests: Review and approve individual scheduled payments. - Bulk Approval Requests: Review and approve bulk payments in one action. Register Users Register new users, update existing user profile (by Agent). - Phone Number: Register new users by phone number. - National ID: Register new users by Ethiopian National ID. - Update Profile: Modify user profile details as needed. Airtime/Package Manage airtime and data package transactions for users within your organization. - Airtime/Package: Buy airtime or packages. - Approval Requests: Review and confirm airtime or package purchases. Generate QR Code Generate a QR code for quick access or payment transactions. Security Settings The dashboard provides secure access control with role-based permissions, ensuring each user only has access to features necessary for their role (e.g., Accountant, Approver, Clerk, Agent). Role-Based Access Control - Accountant: Initiate transactions, manage and review transactions. - Approver: Review and approve transactions, schedules, and other payments. - Clerk: View transaction statuses and access financial reports. - Agent: Register users, update user profile, and make transactions. Password Policies - Passwords should have at least 6 characters. - If you lost your password, contact your organization's system admin.
